Access Alt Help

1. How do I open the alt functions?
The "Alt" key on Mac is the "Option" key. Please press that to activate the Access Keys and navigate the Office Ribbon


2. Pressing "Option" does not open the Access Keys?

If pressing the "Option" key does not open the Access Keys, please ensure the following:

2.1. You are signed in
Go to the "Formato" tab and check the symbol next to the "Account" item.

2.2. Check if Excel has Accessibility enabled

Go to "System Settings" on your Mac, then under "Privacy & Security", click on "Accessibility". Ensure that Microsoft Excel is ticked.

​​2.3. Restart Excel

If you are signed in and Microsoft Excel has Accessibility enabled, please try restarting Excel

2.4. Change Language of Excel

Formato currently only supports English (US/UK) Language in Excel. Please switch either the primary language to English (US/UK) or select English (US/UK) as language for Microsoft Excel only in your System Settings. Afterwards restart your Mac.
