1. What does Formato include?
Formato is a software add-in for Microsoft Office that helps users format slides quickly and efficiently. It includes common shortcuts used in consulting. For a complete list, refer to our shortcuts page.

2. Does Formato run on Windows, Mac, or Google Slides? What are the system requirements?
Formato is compatible with Windows and Mac. The system requirements are:

- Windows: Windows 11 or later

- Mac: macOS 11 or later (Apple Chip and Intel chips supported)

- Microsoft Office: Office 2021 or later

Formato is not available for Google Slides.


3. How do I install Formato?
To install Formato, download the installation file from our website and follow the on-screen instructions. You can activate Formato using the license key provided upon subscription. For detailed instructions see here.

4. Does Formato work with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Office?
Our installer currently supports both 32-bit and 64-bit version of Microsoft Office.

5. What types of subscriptions are available?
We offer both monthly and annual subscription plans. You can choose the plan that best suits your needs during the checkout process.

6. Do you support multiple (enterprise) licences?
Yes, we support multiple licences. Please contact our sales team for more information.

 

7. How can I see the licence number after my subscription purchase?
You can find your key here. Please refresh the page in case the key does not appear immediately or contact us for support.


8. How can I switch from a monthly to an annual plan?
Visit your account on our website. Under “My Subscription”, you can cancel your current plan. Then, purchase a new plan on the pricing page.

9. How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current subscription period. After your cancellation your expiration date will be shown on the website - the status shows "pending cancellation" until the end of the period. 

10. Is there a free trial available?
Yes, we offer a one month free trial. You can sign up on our website to try out Formato.

11. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and Amex.

12. Can I use Formato on multiple devices?
The licence key is valid for use on one device per user. For multi-device licencing options, please contact our support team. You can log out your device here.

13. How do I update the software?
Formato automatically checks for updates when connected to the internet. You will be prompted to install any available updates. We recommend keeping your software up-to-date.

14. What should I do if I encounter a technical issue?
If you experience technical issues, contact our support team or use the “Report issue” feature in the add-in.

15. How do I manage my cookie preferences?
You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. For more information, visit our cookie policy page.

16. How do I opt out of Google Analytics tracking?
To opt out of Google Analytics data collection on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available here.

17. How is my personal data protected?
Your privacy is important to us. We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, detailing how we collect, use, and protect your information.

18. Can I get a refund for my subscription?
Refunds are subject to our refund policy. Generally, we do not offer refunds for unused portions of the subscription period. Please contact our support team for more information.
